High G drying shaker for water base mud

High G drying shaker, also named high G dryer, it is a kind of shale shaker utilize high G force to reduce the water contend in water based drilling cuttings.

Applications of High G drying shaker for water base mud

Unlike solids control shale shaker, high G drying shaker is used to treat drilling cuttings comes from solids control shale shaker, desander or desilter. There is noamally 4-panel shaker screens for high G drying shaker. More shaker screen enable a longer route of mud going through the screen machine.

High G shale shaker cannot be used in solids control system directly. The high G force will destroy the mud contend of the drilling fluids. If it is really need to use high G shale shaker in solids control system, the G force should be reduced.

High G drying shaker is used to treat water base mud drilling cuttings, while vertical cuttings dryer used to treat oil base mud drilling cuttings.

Features of GN brand high G drying shaker

GNZS594HGE-LD is a typical model high G drying shaker. It is a 4-panel shaker utilizing composite material shaker screen 1165×585mm. It is common side shaker screen easy to be interchangeable with other brand shakers.    

Unlike other brand, GN brand high G drying shaker utilizing stainless steel material for shaker deck for long lifetime.

Synchronous shaker deck angle adjustment device. It is GN patent design. Both the shaker deck angle can be changed equally when you adjust from either side.

Other equipment used together with high G drying shale shaker

When drilling cuttings discharged from solids control shale shaker, desander and desilter, a screw conveyer will be used to transfer the cuttings and feed to high G drying shaker. After high G drying shaker, the clean fluids will be transferred to high speed decanter centrifuge to separate the fine solids inside.

If there are high content fine solids over centrifuge separation scope, dewater unit should be used.
