Desander Desilter Installation

The desander should take suction from the degasser overflow tank and overflow to the adjacent downstream tank. Desilter suction should be from the desander overflow and again, overflow to the adjacent downstream tank.

Low level equalizers between the overflow and suction tanks ensure a backflow of mud as described above.Where the bottom of the cones lies several feet above the mud level in the tanks, the overflow line may create a vacuum which sucks solids through the overflows, thereby reducing separation efficiency. This can be overcome by installation of a vacuum break.Both desander and desilter shall installed on the mud tank.

Why waste management necessary

Formerly, drilling cutting treated by vertical cutting dryer can centrifuge disharge to environment directly or bury deeply undergroud. But it is extremaly bad to the environment. There are many kinds of chemicals and heavy metal ion in the cuttings, They will sink into groudwater and pollute groudwater. The polluted water as water source is very bad to human beings.

Vertical cutting dryer and high speed centrifuge can reduce OOC less than 5%,But in many countries, the treated cutting still cannot discharge into enviroment. Other biologic treantment should be followed.still cannot discharge dischage directly. They just act as parts of waste management.

How vacuum shaker screen recovery system works

A vacuum manifold is attaching to shaker screen of vacuum shaker screen recovery system. Or it installs a vacuum manifolds which have a shaler screen attached to it.

The vacuum system attached to the shaker’s  basket, so the manifolds vibrates with the shaker while shaker running.

There is a vacuum line with a fluid/air separato attached to vacuum manifolds. The vacuum manifolds is connected to collection tank. The vacuum unit is installed as close as possible to the shaker to keep the distance that the recovered fluid is transported as short as possible.
