As China top manufacturing on mud solids control and drilling waste management, GN Solids Control exported complete set solids control equipment for Russia customer.
The projects includes below solids control equipment:
1) Solids control shale shaker with linear motion, model GNZS594E.
Model clarification: GN means brand. ZS means linear motion. 59 means the screen width is 59cm. 4 is 4-panel screens. E means it is the E generation from GN Solids Control.

It is a 4-panel linear motion shale shaker can be used for both solids control. It can also be used as high G drying shaker while equipped with 1.94Kw vibration motors and with hopper feeding.
GN offers steel frame screen and composite material screens for GNZS594E 4-panel shaker.
2) Fixed speed decanter centrifuges for solids control and barite recovery. Centrifuge model: GNLW363CG. It is the most popular side decanter centrifuge for drilling rigs.
GN and LW means the brand and centrifuge type. 36 is the centrifuge bowl diameter: 36cm. 3 is the bowl length and diameter ratio. 3 is the most popular ratio for drilling rig decanter centrifuges.
3) Some mud agitators and centrifugal pumps.
Even for the accessory small equipment, GN all made per international high standard, with all materials chose from internal and international famous brand.
For mud agitator, GN chose SOG oil seal and FAG genius bearings.
GN centrifugal pump is equipped with mechanical seal. The material for mechanical seal is tungsten carbon for long time. Bearings are from worldwide famous brand FAG.    
Other solids control equipments can be offered by GN Solids Control:
1) Desander, desilter or mud cleaner with under flow shale shaker. GN do offer 2-panel, 2-panel, and 4-panel under flow shale shaker.
2) Poor boy degasser, it is also name mud gas separator. It is used before shale shaker but after BOP to kill the gas in the mud.
3) Vacuum degasser. It is used after shale shaker but before hydrocyclone separator to kill the very small size gas to protect the cones.
4) Jet mud mixer for barite and polymer mixture.

Shale shaker is the first stage solids control equipment. Sealing rubber is used between shale deck and shaker screen. It plays a very important part for shale shaker performance. A better quality sealing rubber can enable a longer life time of shale shaker and can great reduce the quantity of replacement shaker screen.

Functions of shale shaker sealing rubber

1) Shale shaker is a screening device adjust high vibrating strength to separate bigger particals from drilling fluids. Good quality Sealing rubber can reduce the friction of shale shaker deck and the shaker screen, and provented the shaker from damage.

2) What will happen if there isn’t sealing rubber? If there isn’t screen rubber or it is damaged, the screen frame will touch with shaker deck directly, which will be damaged in a very short time.

3) The worse condition is the dirty mud with many junks from well will fall into mud system directly. It needs the higher treating capacity of the next step equipment. Otherwise it may make damage to the next step solids control equipment, or even worse, it may block mud pump and make stop of the drilling rig.

4) If the sealing of the rubber is not good enough, its anti-corrosion not good enough, it will be broken easily under high temperature drilling mud, and the shaker screen will be damaged very quickly.

In some countires, like in China, Kuwait,Oman, U.S. , Canada, Australia, etc…, shale shaker is usually the only solids control equipment in a mud system. Drilling fluids only treated by shale shaker, then back to mud system for drilling again. In this case, it requrests a high standard for the reliability of shale shaker performance.

GNZCQ270 is the most common vacuum degasser model. The capacity can meet most demands of different drilling site. It is interchangeable with most U.S separator models.

GNZCQ270 vacuum degasser is self suction type. While most US. brand vacuum degasser, they need a separate centrifugal pump feeding for it. It is a waste of power.

GNZCQ270 vacuum degasser utilize 2 motors. Main motor 22kw drive for the main machine, while a 3kw smaller motor power for the vacuum pump.

Mud gas separator also called poor boy degasser, atmospheric separator .

GN Mud Gas Separator Poor Boy Degasser is manufactured per API and ISO standard. It is designed for continued drilling in underbalanced conditions where dramatic pressure surges are normal.

In case of dangerous condition, the Mud Gas Separator Poor Boy Degasser allows operators to circulate the drilling fluids by removing large pockets of gas.

The gas cut mud enters the flow line of the unit, where it hits a series of baffle plates. These baffle plates provide surface area for the dispersion of the gas cut mud. The mud goes to solids control equipment for further treatment, while the separated gas travels along vent line to a safety distance away from rig and people, or goes to Ignition for flare.
